CoolHunting is an events production company that was created to give local, self-starters who may not have had the ability to previously show their work due to barriers of money, social media followers, a network, etc. a place to present or perform their work in a diverse environment.

CoolHunting works with local bands and record labels to create affordable, highly accessible, multi-day music festivals that create a platform for independent, underground, DIY, and local artists from diverse genres and backgrounds to showcase their work while giving back to the local community. Rooted in strong values and efforts focused on the environment and sustainability, part (or all) proceeds from CoolHunting events go back to a local environmental organization in the city the event takes place in to show support and action to fight for the environment.

“Cool hunting” is a term coined in the early 1990s referring to a new breed of marketing professionals, called coolhunters, whose job was to make observations and predictions in changes of new or existing cultural trends, very similar to “trend setting.” It is our hope that CoolHunting events become the place where people go to discover new and emerging creativity – whether that be music, art, fashion, or the like.
